I use very simple material to make my self portrait. I wanted to use a black thread and the sewing line as a drawing tool and make the portrait. I wanted to get the feel of charcoal design on paper.
I choose a time of my life to draw myself as a young woman when I was a dancer. I was young and thin, very different from whom I am now.
